\n\t\t\t\t\t\tIn response to the rapid developments in the world of technology and the increasing digital threats facing individuals and institutions alike, the Department of Cybersecurity Sciences was established at the College of Science, Alnoor University, in 2025. It is considered one of the specialized departments concerned with protecting systems and information from various cyber threats. The establishment of the department came as a strategic step aimed at supplying the local and regional labor markets with scientifically and practically qualified professionals capable of operating within secure digital environments, as well as enhancing cybersecurity awareness within society.\nThe department adopts modern curricula that cover multiple fields, including network security, cryptography, secure cloud computing, cybercrime, malware analysis, and penetration testing, in addition to practical training in specialized laboratories that enable students to simulate cyberattacks and defense mechanisms.
