Dean of the College of Science at Alnoor University publishes a scientific paper in an international journal indexed in Scopus
As part of the University of Alnoor’s efforts to support scientific research and enhance its international academic presence, Professor Dr. Ismail Ibrahim Dawood, Dean of the College of Science at the University of Alnoor, has published a scientific paper in an international medical journal indexed in the Scopus database.
The research was published in the Sultan Qaboos University Medical Journal in 2025, Volume 25, pages (1034–1075), under the title:
“Identification and Antimicrobial Profiling of Coagulase-Negative Staphylococci Isolated from Healthy Carriers”
The study focused on investigating Coagulase-Negative Staphylococcus (CoNS) bacteria, which are considered important causative agents of many infections, particularly in immunocompromised patients, in addition to their ability to exhibit multidrug resistance (MDR).
This scientific achievement represents an important addition to Alnoor University’s research record. It also reflects the university’s commitment to supporting researchers and encouraging publication in reputable international journals indexed in global databases.
